Download the server pack. Open the Prominence™ II: Hasturian Era page on CurseForge, click the Files tab, pick the latest file, then open Additional Files. The server pack download lives in there.

Extract the ZIP and read HOW_TO_RUN.md. Unzip the server pack into its own folder. Inside you will find a file called HOW_TO_RUN.md. Open it. It has the exact steps for starting the server on your operating system, including which script to run and how much RAM to give it.
Make your server reachable. For your friends to connect, the server needs to be visible from outside your home network. Pick one of the two options below.
Two ways to let friends connect
Port forward your router. Log into your router's admin panel and forward the Minecraft port (25565 by default) to your computer's local IP address. There are a lot of video tutorials online that walk through this. Searching for your exact router model usually makes the process much easier.
Use a VPN like Radmin VPN. If your router or ISP prevents port forwarding (this is common on CGNAT or locked ISP routers), install Radmin VPN or a similar LAN over internet tool. Have your friends join the same virtual network and connect to your computer's local IP.
Keep in mind
Your server is offline whenever your PC sleeps, restarts, or loses power.
Your upload speed caps how many players can join before the server starts to lag.
You are responsible for backups, crash recovery, mod updates, and moderation tooling.
Exposing a home IP publicly carries its own small set of risks, so use the VPN option if you are not sure.
